Originally developed under the name OM-2020, the mask is manufactured in the same Czech facility as our other premium respirators and shares many of the same components—aside from its unique visor designed for enhanced situational awareness.\n  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\n    When it was first developed a few years ago, we encountered a few issues, all of which have since been addressed.\n  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\n    Early versions had some minor distortion around the periphery of the visor. To fix this, we’ve partnered with a new Italian manufacturer to produce a much-improved lens that’s now standard across all CM-8M units.\n  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\n    We also received feedback about the oro-nasal cup applying too much pressure on the bridge of the nose for certain face shapes. We revised the cup design accordingly, and haven’t received any complaints since.\n  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\n    Another issue was that the hydration straw was slightly too short for some users. We’ve corrected this in newer production runs, and we offer free replacement straws to any customers who need them. For users with very narrow faces, this can potentially lead to a minor sealing issue around the temples.
