Old, dried-out wood furniture doesn't need replacing — it needs moisture back. We make this conditioner in house from a traditional recipe, using our own beeswax and carnauba wax dissolved in turpentine to restore old wood and protect the surface longer than oil alone. The turpentine carries the wax deep into the grain, then evaporates and leaves a hard, natural finish behind.
Clean the surface of dirt and wipe it down. Apply the conditioner with a cloth, working it in with circular motions. Let it absorb for 10 minutes, then wipe off the excess and buff to a sheen.
This conditioner is made for furniture, not for kitchen surfaces or cutting boards. The turpentine makes it unsuitable for food-contact surfaces — if you need something for kitchen wood, use our Kitchen Wood Conditioner instead.
Turpentine is flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area, away from open flame or spark sources. Keep the lid on when not in use.
