The Quart Glass Mason Jar is the three-pound honey jar. If you're selling to customers who go through honey fast — or bottling for wholesale accounts that want a substantial format — the quart is the most efficient size per jar. One jar, one purchase, 3 lbs of honey. Less packaging waste per pound, fewer jars to fill per harvest, and a format that reads serious on a retail shelf or CSA table.
At honey density, this jar holds approximately 48 oz (1,360 g) of honey by weight — about 4 cups. The jar's fluid volume is 32 oz. Like all honey jars, it's sold and measured by honey weight rather than liquid volume, so the weight-based capacity is always higher than the fluid ounce equivalent. This jar uses a 70mm (70G-450) continuous thread lid — the same size as the 8 oz and 16 oz mason jars in this family. We sell the 70mm Mason Canning Jar Lid separately in gold. It's the most co-purchased item with this jar.
Glass jars are available for local pickup at our store in Birmingham, Alabama, or can be shipped via ground or freight. Shipping glass is at the customer's risk — we're not responsible for breakage in transit, but you can add shipping insurance at checkout.
