🏴 3' x 5' Ohio flag with grommets and double stitched edges to reduce fraying on the lovely swallowtail/burgee shape.
✍️ The Design: As the only non-rectangular US State flag, Ohio's flag is already got that feeling of punk rock. When I considered redesigning it for our Better State Flag Series, I finally decided that it was ok on its own merit and left it alone (to many Ohioan's relief).
It was designed in 1901 by John Eisenmann and adopted officially in 1902. Fun fact, before 1902, for nearly a century after statehood, Ohio did not have a legally authorized state flag!
